WATER....the most forgotten nutrient.
Many people take drinking water for granted, but staying hydrated has a tremendous impact on our overall health. In spite of the health benefits, a large number of people do not consume the recommended amounts of fluids daily.
Around 70% of the body is comprised of water, and how much you need varies. A common recommendation is to drink eight 8-ounce glasses daily, but that amount may vary depending on your health, activity levels, and how hot and dry the climate is. But the fact remains, drinking water (plain, in the form of other fluids, or foods like fruits and vegetables) is essential to your health.
Why drink water?
